A fan of the U.S. since his childhood, Benoit always knew he would one day settle in America. After making numerous trips to U.S. since he was twelve, Benoit decided to make his passion his profession by joining a Parisian tour operator that specialized in travel to the United States.

Benoit learned the ropes and the idea to start Cali’fun took shape, based on a desire to share his passion for California with as many people as possible. He started the venture in 2006, armed with nothing but himself and a minivan bought for the occasion.
Word spread quickly and Benoit became the go-to guy for anyone in search of a great tour of Los Angeles. With his success in the City of Angels, Benoit began training new recruits and expanded the model to San Francisco. He now focuses on extending the same quality services to the many visitors that come to California each year.
